IR24: Island Retreat 24

This unit was very comfortable, and the kitchen was nicely stocked with all the pots/pans/utensils you need. Everything was very clean, and the ocean view was so beautiful! We definitely hope to return.

Loved our condo rental. It was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and rental instructions were easy to follow. Will stay again! The only recommendation is to replace the flat, old pillows on both the King and Queen beds.

The Condo is wonderful! We enjoyed our stay. We had planned to cook some meals at the condo but the pots and pans were worn out. They couldn't be used!

This is a great place situated close to pool and beach. Great view of beach. Place was nice with enough room for everyone.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed sitting on the deck and relaxing after being at the beach. We were able to see the ocean and hear it from the deck. Our daughters enjoyed the pools and other activities the property offered. We appreciated the parking offered for golf carts.

Whenever we go to Port A, we always stay at Island Retreat. IR 24 is incredible. The views from the back porch are some of the best in the complex. The condo itself is spacious, clean, beautifully updated, well-appointed, and perfect for a family like ours. It even has a washer and dryer! The owners have put in a lot of work on their condo - and it shows. The management company has also put in a lot of work on the grounds since we visited last summer. They look better and more inviting than ever! If you're looking for a short walk to the beach, a wonderful pool for kids to swim and play, and a relaxing and unpretentious place to stay for the perfect vacation in Port A, look no further than Island Retreat!

My family and I will be returning and recommending our friends to visit Island Retreat Resort, everything was beautiful, clean, and with different things to do like a pool, BBQ, Basketball, Bally-ball and close enough beach access.

The place was clean and generally quiet. Everything was as expected.

Island Retreat 24 has been our favorite stay at Island Retreat so far! The condo was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully updated. And the view of the Gulf is incredible! After mornings on the beach, we would sit on the porch and take in the views. We can't wait for our next stay. Island Retreat is definitely the place to stay in Port A.

When we opened the front door of the condo was just amazing feeling. We feel comfortable in a vacation house. We love the combination of different tropical colors and art design. It was very cold when we enter the unit so it’s refreshing. I love the view from the master bedroom looking to the ocean. We can’t wait to be in this unit again next year as we planned on visiting every year.

The condo was perfect for our family. Lots of towels, blankets, dishes, and even a washer and dryer. The view was amazing! Everything was clean and the air conditioning was cool. We would highly recommend staying here. The beach access was a big plus.

The actual condo was perfect for our stay. Photos did not disappoint. It was neat, organized, well stocked. Comfortable beds.... plenty of blankets, extra pillows and towels. Just remember to bring your own beach towels. Well decorated and modern interior! Check in went well.
HOWEVER, there was a leak under the kitchen sink which was reported immediately upon discovering. Also reported that the refrig. ice-maker wasn't working. When no maintenance showed up that afternoon, it was reported again. The phone service (mgmt company) brushed me off, stating they were 'busy checking-in incoming guests'; that it HAD been reported. Only to find out on our last day (day 3) that this never happened, and the resident on the ground level below us had a "major" flooding issue. We were repeat guests, yet I'm not sure we will return again. The phone contact person told me he would check on some future compensation for us for this inconvenience, but to date, no one has gotten back to us.
