IR179: Beach View Condo

My family of 5 had a wonderful vacation. Our condo had a beautiful view of the ocean... the porch was perfect for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The beach was just a short walk and we appreciated renting all the beach gear with the credit we received. Next time we go to Port A we will definitely stay here again!

We had the best time here. Perfect location. Close to boardwalk. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Condo was clean and had all the basic amenities. We will definitely be back.

I'm giving the condo 4 stars only because it was lacking some amenities in the actual condo, which was inconvenient. I do wish they had a washer and dryer in the condo - the laundry room was located outside, within walking distance, and I believe it took quarters to use. Other than that, the condo was clean, definitely a little bit older or at least worn in certain places in the flooring that needed fixing. Lots of towels, the beds were super comfortable but glad I took my own pillow because we didn't have enough for our liking. I would definitely stay here again! The best part was their $100 beach gear rental credit - definitely take advantage of that!. That came in handy and they were happy to help with some gear that was breaking while we were using it.

Easy to find, great view, and quick response from agent.

Picture were totally accurate which I really appreciated. Security was polite and helpful. Rooms were spacious enough and a/c was spot on! Little kitchen was perfect for our needs. Beds were well sheeted, but were a little rough on me. But that's because I got an old body. Everyone else will have no problems. It's great. And so very close to the beach. A perfect day was had by all. Thanks again!

Couldn't get the TV or internet to work. Tried password on router and it didn't work.Other than that, it was great.

The setup is simple and the balcony is large and private. Quiet, couldn't hear neighbors even being in between floors. Definitely outdated, but I don't really care about that. I do care that the main bathroom's toilet barely flushed, the pile of wires in a corner of the living room… just shove them in a basket, no skillet to make the breakfast material I brought so we didn't have to eat out for that meal, and the state of the floors. I understand after a day or so, the floors will be dirty… my son and my feet were black within an hour of walking barefoot. We wore shoes or socks for the rest of the trip. For the price, the pools, the quietness, the slight view of the ocean on balcony.. def worth it. I also did tell the guy I spoke to when checking out early about the floors, skillet, and leaking cups; he said he'd handle. Forgot to mention the toilet.

The condo met our purpose of staying close to the beach. There was plenty of room for 4 of us. These condos have been in service for many years, but they are clean and cared for. Thanks!

The condo provided a roof over our head and was a great location for getting to the beach and having time walking along the beach. The condo is not a luxurious space but adequate for a short getaway in PA. We did not appreciate the thermostat resetting itself to 85 degrees in the middle of the night. We repeatedly had to reset it to make the air comfortable for sleeping.

Nice and roomy. Loved the view from the balcony. A little old inside but clean.

Love the beach access. Convenient to go to downtown. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful for a condo. You hardly hear anything from neighbors. The wall must be thick. We enjoyed the view from the long balcony. You can peek the ocean, but mostly view dunes. Contactless check-in/out procedures were nice and easy. The buildings look old, but clean and well-maintained. A few suggestions to improve: - The shower drain in the master bedroom was slow. Adding a fan would eliminate the moisture, too. - The tennis court was a plus for us. Unlike the pictures at the website, they converted one of the courts to a pickle ball court, though. The lights at the courts are not bright enough to play at night. Besides, the cabana lights next to the courts were too bright and interfered our play. Balls looked disappeared because of that. - Adding a light in the living room would be great. It was too dark. - Replacing all cookware would be great. They were all outdated and looked heavily used. - There was no bar to hang in the closet in the 2nd bedroom. There were no hangers in any rooms, either.

Clean and cozy condo with great beach views and a great location to town. Quick walk to the beach, minutes away from Old Town Port Aransas, comfy couch and recliner for watching TV. Very responsive for questions and issues. Have quarters to use the communal washer dyer if you are staying more than a weekend, and bring a fan since there aren't ceiling fans in the rooms to move the air.
