IR149: Island Retreat 149

This was our 3rd visit to this particular condo. We love that it faces the beach and has a boardwalk to the ocean nearby. This is a perfect size for a party of two. It's a darling room with lovely beachy decor. I highly recommend and will rent it again. I have to say Island Retreat has upped its game by communicating with us throughout our stay. They even recommended a place to go to get our tire fixed while we were there. Keep up the great work!

We have stayed at the Island Retreat Resort the past 2 years and have had 2 great experiences. This specific unit was very clean and perfect for our family of 4. I have 2 small children so having double beds was fine since one parent slept with one kid. It seemed bigger than our unit last year since this one had a seating area with a sofa. It had a great view to the water with a balcony which was just bonus. Kitchen was pretty, clean and had everything we needed to cook a few things. I did bring my own seasonings but there was salt/pepper there already. The price was also perfect compared to the other unites which is why I picked it in the first place. Not sure why but the size was perfect for us. We will definitely pick this unit again if the price remains.

Clean, great location.

The room is well appointed and cozy with a lovely color scheme The shower head is easy to adjust. There could be more hooks and shelving in the bathroom, otherwise, it's a great unit. We enjoyed the rockers on the balcony. We've already recommended it to family members. Thanks for a great visit, we'll be back!

The room was exactly what we were looking for and met all of our needs and wants. It has a lovely view of the ocean and is a very short walk to the beach. The beds were also very comfortable. I would love to come back.

Fantastic location and great price!

The location was great; easy access to pool and beach. The room was fairly priced, so a good value. It was quiet, yet close enough to town to where most things were a 3-5 minute drive away. The unit was just big enough for 2 adults and 2 small children. We really enjoyed our stay.Cons about the unit specifically: We could not get the ceiling fan working. Maybe the remote needs a battery change? Also, the carpet is completely filthy. It needs a good cleaning or to be replaced all together.

Our second vacation in the same room and it was awesome again! Looking forward to our next vacation.

The Condo was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! The View is SPECTACULAR ! The Service was FABULOUS! We will definitely be back and rent Condo #149!!

Wonderful stay. My only recommendation would be a detachable shower head. The current one is so low you have to crouch to get under it. I’m 5’7” so not super tall! Otherwise place was cute, comfortable and quiet.

The view was absolutely breathtaking. Best part of the room. I don’t like complaining but the shower was gross, the shower head was really really low and falling off the wall. Then the last 2 days of our stay they were doing construction on the unit next to us. And our last day someone was drilling into the ceiling of the stairs while I was trying to get my stuff packed. I wanted to relax and take my time leaving, but I couldn’t wait to get out of there.
